Being that I've always lived on Vancouver Island, I love my home and where I live. I've always felt incredibly lucky that this is my backyard. It wasn't until the year 2015 that I started hiking. I had recently got out of a relationship and decided I needed to start an interest that was for me. I remember getting an overnight backpack for a gift and sold it. Thinking I was never going to use it, well here we are. It's nearly 2024 and my hiking as now turned into getting into mountaineering. I have grown over the years as a micro-influencer on Instagram, I met alot of my current friends from there, had alot of cool oppourtunities and now I've created this blog. Whatever chance I get, I'm usually outside on my days off.  I enjoy taking my son out on the trails and seeing life through his eyes.  I have a twin sister which is where this name of site originated from. (@adventurewiththetwin) We are very close and always have been. I'm not planning on putting any roots down anytime soon, I'm always hungry for the next best adventure and I can't wait to share where that leads me. I'm excited to share my journey with you and educate you as much as I can about Leave No Trace principles, hiking etiquette and more. This is truly my passion and it means everything to me.
